Post modernism and the structuralist debate

Post modernism and the structuralist debate was actually a tool and a tactic in the 1980s and 1990s to undermine all radical ideologies ostensibly, but its true aim was to dismantle the Soviet Marxism 'superior science of linear Dialectical Materialism' that had been the stalwart of the Cold War's Soviet conflict with post imperial Western powers. Imagine you'd need to evaporate, disintegrate and fragment 'the Marxist appeal by destroying the reality that there was fundamentally more than a simple inevitable economic socio-economic outcome that healed the 'nasty and exploitative Capitalist exercise of the Bourgeoisie and the melting away of the state' etc. Life ain't idealistic and humans are essentially imperfect but nor are people to be manipulated and dictated too or be the victim or the winner of greed and malice 'without a firm brutal regime to show them the light!'??? How? What? Didn't Soviets treat individualism to be subjugated to the dictat of the state and the creation of the party cadre who could dictate to the Proletariat how to crush any 'dissident rival 'who must be seen as a 'traitor' etc. Very simple? How many flaws can you wish for, but this new 1980s Western instrument of unproving Sovietism had to conceal the West's hardcore multiple failings and drawbacks itself, so post Modernism had to hide the Wests faults and limitations by advocating that there is no simple maxim except democracy, which Churchill had previously stated was that Democracy the worst form of government except all the others! This was and is Capitalism’s trump card! We are muddling through and we acknowledge that we are being pragmatic and we were trying to provide individual human rights even if we often weren't very good at preserving them - sure it wasn't mea culpa, but the West took some store at playing the nothing will last unless we work hard and remain as accountable for our mistakes card!......meanwhile some got over rich and many were locked out of the 'Capitalist dream' by exploitative and bruising a life that never seemed to reward them with opportunity and wealth., but subject them to always be 'desperately under the yoke of financial insecurity 'compared with the largesse of the privileged! But well played the West! Hide your dirty secrets by exposing the Soviet philosophy as redundant!!
So this aspect of a philosophical westernism deconstructed any certainties and direct linear truths, but remains a western weapon that makes any prize ideology fraught with limitations whilst being a constant Western companion of 'don't shoot the messenger who may be your boss too '! But as far as its application towards 2 systems China today, they too can claim that they too now have a get out of jail card of 'don't shoot the businessman, he's only creating Capitalist profit for the Communist twin who can then redistribute the wealth creation and the non-isolationism of an integrated global family pioneered by China! In other words, Capitalism is so imperfect that it is not any surprise that 2 systems China today 'is not perfect but can be ennobled by its twin - the Communist party!!????! Well, they have learnt how to itemise and deconstruct too! But if economic cycles and socio/political paradoxes exist too, we can say that ideology will expand and contract like a respiratory lung, hardly the cliche of 'History always repeats itself'', or a western retro hippy 'saying it's just Karma', but it seems to be episodic, and cyclically repetitious, but just altered and under slightly different variables and contextualised circumstance, but deconstruction seems perhaps, according to empirical data, to have a permanency under different flags as an ideological construct and weaponisable more than every other 20th and 21st century (hitherto) ideological philosophy in which it advocates ruin or to undermine!?! It is an enduring validation against 'false prophets ' but it remains a deconstruction to debilitate and emasculate any centralised authoritarianism or the lies that establish them!
Imagine a Jackson Pollock Painting that could be seen as a 3D version of a galaxy or universe as well as an abstract and try to explain it as the 'Big Bang' and the Universal explosion as matter transcends time and the Universe expands. Now imagine what may happen to a solar star, our sun, when it contracts, and it gets more and more intense until the sun is the size of a cricket ball until it explodes into a supernova and eventually forms a black hole that eventually forms a white hole etc..... isn’t this how we humans find our eras and epochs? Empires come and recede, the world in crisis and then in plenty etc Now imagine if a contemporary Painting contained both fragmentation and reformation or restoration and collapse, we'd probably map where the nature of all those transformations take place in a Venn diagram, to locate what different versions do when they intersect.!?! Where do they collide or reinforce or break with a tradition or not so much as it would seem...?? We'd see connections of what appear to have nothing in common actually intersect!!??! Isn't that life/death, rebirth/recycle, repeat/ conflict too? Isn't today's Painting about understanding those conflicts and those paradoxes? It is then a Venn diagram that depicts all of the fragments and non-symmetry of the history of Art by humans, and yet contains what we have in common with any or every generation of cultural sequences or wars; that is our contemporary Painting that ennobles our visual etc sensorial experience of our complete full lives, where we episodically rise and fall in our many versions and variables!
