I’ve continued to draw and paint on frames rather then the objects they normally surround.
The original object is left black and its function appears to be absent. Is it however reverse psychology to stress and appreciate the original paintings that those frames use to surround or am I bemoaning by the sedentary significance of painting to the contemporary art world?
Or am I extending the reach of 2D paint work to every part of the Art object? You decide!
