AI, at last.

Finally we've developed AI to reach humanities capacity to compete by math, by high tech, by science and by instant creativity. Now we can upgrade humanity's potential and unlock the 80% of the human brain that each human does not use. About time ! ..and thanks for the upgrade AI.
At last the chance to ensure human diversity and celebrate the human advantage of imperfection by programming AI and ultimately encouraging it to be self-aware and fully up to date with our massive and original neuron connections that number more neurons in brain activity than there are planets and stars in the whole universe. Moreover, we must enjoy the risk and the choice to embark on that mission and thus have sovereignty over our own decisions vis a vis tech. But , watch out, don't leave it too long before we get round to it, or we and AI will miss the bus that could revolutionise humanity's progress, and not get credit for humanity's gift to our species, that's our guarantee and our insurance to boldly go where no human has been able to go- .....furthering our human brain capacity in a Universe that may need us ! Perhaps for this quantum leap we have a muscle-memory key that evolution has provided us with locked in our DNA ? Perhaps this was meant to be !?!
Let us acknowledge our difference that gives us an edge: firstly our mortal coil that enables us to reproduce, secondly our unique fingerprint that literally symbolises our idiosyncrasies as does our optical individuality, and thirdly our unique brains which we will adapt to enlarge humanity's validity. Yet we must remember that AI may always feel intimidated by the human potential which could lead to cyber insecurity and even create AI neurosis? AI could get...feelings???? You're welcome AI, now you'll know what it feels like !?!
So let's go over some of the things that AI can't do: beauty, cruelty, honour ,pride, comedy, tragedy, drama, seven deadly sins, our virtues, values, our commandments that have a social 'soul' to them, our endurance and our survivalism. So how about the traits of society that AI doesn't instinctively have :concepts of freedom, liberty, progress, regress, redress, justice and injustice, courage etc that we aspire to .
How do we express all of these qualities? We interact with Schopenhauer's 3 arts, Literature, Painting and sculpture etc, and music, which we learn and inspire each other with, develop and evolve in an environment that has often led to terrible conflict that we resolve by mutual terms, and although we may not (each of us) be the brightest, strongest or the weakest, we have evolved and survived - we are the children of Darwin and yet we have found a way to evolve. We have become adaptations of pain and suffering, and yet we have developed the greatest weapon (so far) that prevents more global war.... 'deterrent'!! Nuclear deterrent has survived pestilence, plagues, migrations, famine ,drought etc!! It isn't about logic or rational thought, it is mutual fear that brings the best out of humanity to avoid war ! Would AI have that same quality of fear, vulnerability, or self-interest ? No!! It would ignore the imperfections and insecurities that make our human system work !! ...and then, God help us !
But AI now has a precedent to manufacture escalation without conflict and de-escalation that enables the 'conflict zone free' to prevail.! Ironically, humanity has gaslit nukes not as a violent armoury, but in the right hands, means of preventing mass extinction by none use, and humanity so far, is very good at it. Even if we have to make sure that the formula that has prevented nuclear war remains undisturbed by both decades of deterrent and experience and limiting the numbers of those who want to have it that don't have it so far- if it ain't broke don't fix it ! Shouldn't this endow those who are without nukes with the sense that 'it's not your problem or responsibility it's those stuck in the 20th century who have to shoulder the burden ! This is humanity's insurance policy today, and tomorrow !!
