Democracy

Democracy, like human nature and thus like Painting, is not perfect. Paintings represent not just the representative nature of Renaissance Art of classic Roman/Grecian type but have realised that there are permutations of life in its compelling and constantly evolving departure from expectations and assumptions. Surely it reminds us of what we share and what divides us. furthermore, the world has emerged from the mind-fog of 1991 to today, but with all the supercomputers of our era, the medium of Painting remains unaffected by new technology!! It has transcended the need to rely on technology of the 2020s., which is why the expulsion of the medium may well has worked in its favour.by not just a mirror on our surreal world but also its unfettered lack of need for its censorship and express its diversity and originality by the charms of non-technology and is visual confirmation that it may not have to (but can )transcend form boundaries when context and subject matter have been revolutionised by AI itself!? Ironic isn't it, that the very technology that was meant to exclude '2-dimension Art' has actually done the opposite!!?? These visual complexities actually offer and guarantee the transformation of Painting that doesn't need to stray beyond humanity's completely new AI and digital experience of reality - what used to be a 16th century portrait is now a 21st century montage of colliding worlds that actually visually are perceivable by the naked eye as well as the Universe of reactions or responses of a range of geopolitical, cultural, religious, socio-economic etc new material, that don't need a 'higher power or insight' but are right underneath your nose!!! Welcome to the new normal of passing by the derivative because it is only a point of departure and not a fait de complet! Here is a multiple choice of fast track or slow burn for all Painters today!!
AI has never let us refract on their 'never had it so good 'so accidentally, to let the mirror, as well as the multi-montage confluence of visual change that will make people identify with similar experiences that they may undergo each day in their world and not the ART Fraternities world. It is a revelation that you can see as 'realistic' by sight (a piece of Modernist architecture or digital image) and not an extraction from a Painter of obscure imagination from the 1920s for example. Surreal imagery is the new realism of our era!!?! How does that work? Because our visual universal experience is no longer tied to stylization or rigid school of Art, and this relates that 'Time' itself doesn't have to be a 19th or 20th century human construct, a linear 'A to B’ simple connection, but that a multiverse of un restricted potential is visually within our remit today and that can accessed by visual metaphor or by direct replication that is not a print!! We've been blinded by too much light and its opposite to notice that Painterly myopia has become obsolete, and that like 'spiders’ silk' we are capable of being like 'medicinal visual repairers' to a visual world that is ahead of us whilst we have lost track of where the visual path is! Collapse, collide, restore, undermine, reduce or magnify etc, it is up to the public to demand more Painting (a medium that a lot of people trust) that shows their lives and connections!
Close your eyes and render yourself aware of all your other sense a little more alert (that would take days/months /years to appreciate) and all initial functions would cognitively attract you to abstracts rather than visual connectors, and then open your eyes and you will experience temporary over sensitivity to the light, and you will become compromised between sight and sun blindness! Well, those who suffer from literal blindness all find new senses to magnify sensory perception to a level that only their experiences of both compensation and extra sensory powers that those who are not blind can never acquire!
Confirmation bias is a TATT characteristic of power and over reliance on the western Cold War principles of post-modern relativism, that deployed the issues of gender, sexuality, ethnicity. issues of race as well as the degrading of Marxist orthodoxy by the likes of Gramsci that was encouraged to explain (by 1991) firstly, the unrealistic nature of concepts of 'Marxist revolution' and secondly, his acknowledgement of Capitalist societies being more sophisticated than Lenin or Marx ever recognised. So, this corrupted Marxist versions of Soviet history as a 'science from a 19th century philosophy' that also was being scythed by Foucault, Derrida, De Beauvoir and Satre (at much exasperation by the latter but unravelling your own humanist Marxism en plein air must have been exhausting)! So now add the often-contrary nature and influence of Nietzsche and Kierkegaard, Camus and existentialism, and that concoction (that had largely been so anti-religious) managed to not just reject God but now was contributing to the rejection of one of his secular versions - Marxism !!?? Just imagine how many Leninists so struggled against a tide of proof that would lead them to undermine the West as new (post-Cold War)'reformed ex-Marxist, capitalists' in the new Russian Federation ' and 2 systems China!!?!! Well, we live today in a hybrid ideological construct where China wants to be the last surviving and only realistic and unique Marxist Communist regime as well as wanting to be the biggest Capitalist economy too!!?!! Now that is Marxist aspirational materialism! Welcome to the leap of faith and cynical Capitalism of Soviet China!! But I say, let the pendulum swing, and let the cards fall where they may, and this Capitalist migration and its new narrative may make Marxism become a victim of something Marxism itself called Capitalism in crisis but by its own participation and leadership in it, via these new global free markets of old , new and prospective Capitalist 'Democracies' that may not have to square the circle of Marxist ideology that would so weigh down any Marxist-Leninist regime but especially so in the global markets of the 21st century!
