Let’s borrow an economic phrase. The Painter’s brush is the invisible hand of the Art world?

We're producers, developers and not just creators by mutual encouragement and open competition, guided by mutual endorsement and diversity. We're not bulk buyers or bulk sellers, or not flat-pack wide screen 3D extra vision, high-definition types! So don’t put us on pause just take us on! Tete-a-tete, face-en-face: you blink first and be haunted by it? Or will you walk away and treat Culture as if it is a stalker that you can’t get too close to. Culture’s not a victim or just a survivor, it’s not a refugee or a target but Painters actually meet in galleries today explaining with more questions than answers who advocate discipline without self-control, spreading potential but also crossing every taboo without indulging in pointless bohemia of the 19" century version! But if you think you don’t have the insight or skill? No one has! Find your process and progress may be built upon the right and not the taught way you can attack a Painting with.

Like other social sciences that I'm using, Painting goes through cycles and rhythms just like modernism, (and just like the global economy), so you'll always have to resist but you will always have to restore too! Self-satisfaction is the way only of the aggressor and egotist, but if people do not like what you do and not understand what you are trying to do? You are on the right track! Don’t go all Viking when you can pick off your fights! If you hit a cul-de-sac? Remember that the Berlin wall made murals of freedom and resistance against totalitarianism and elitism when Paint was contaminated with Western rejection and Eastern dictat. Forget chips on your shoulder and learn to enjoy the access of pissing-off the nobs instead! You don’t need to use inflammable material or sulphuric acid to corrode an obstacle in your path! Use your own wit! Use your brain! Use your brush! Or maybe even a tactical retreat to re-launch, to fire-up coexistence! Roll back all the boundaries of 20™ century relativism and obsessions with ‘form’, when there are boundaries like the Berlin Wall and the Renaissance Cathedrals! Why? Their stained-glass biblical narratives beautifully depicted, coexisting with the fantastic colours in complex and abstract visions for both the illiterate masses and the fully educated few! Well, these are my boundaries that I hope you can appreciate both forms of visual splendour and conviction.

Get your children to enjoy Art Painting rather than cosmetics (literally and metaphorically)! And their parents? Make it up and not put up with make-up! Lower the mask!

Perhaps the abstract can bring out the figurative? But centuries before the first ‘modernist period of the 19" century (remember my coexistent boundaries?). Paint never has to be (com) P(li)ant! Paint wasn’t born yesterday or at the turn of the 19th centuries modernist nascence. It's our human social demographic thousands of years before my boundaries were ever made; but I make my own boundaries and so should you individualise your own! We shouldn’t cling-on to turbulence or contradiction, insecurities or risk aversion whilst promoting cheap sophistry! There is no future proofing of any material or medium for happy or unhappy accidents or friendly fire! Our DNA is potentially satirical, our era one of a surreal nature, gifted to us by the very technical AI advances that can be measured by our experiential over dependence on them, that we can either reject all of them, or process them by the mutual narratives of both the Berlin Wall murals and the Renaissance stained glass windows! It seems that the only qualification for a Painter today is, how you deal with Paint when what you may do, may not work out as well as they may have planned for! Painting is the boldest statement of individual freedom without the public giving two hoots for what they do: it is therefore an imperative to paint with the thick skin of the paint on canvas and not be troubled by the thin skin of the fickle or the underwhelming reactions of the many!
